Since its launch in 2009 as the Middle East’s first online magazine, Savoir Flair has stayed at the forefront of fashion in the region.
Although they lacked a considered ecosystem driving traffic to the website. Their readers perceived Savoir Flair as the authoritative source of content but was not localised enough to the UAE. Due to this, Savoir Flair was competing on a global scale with well-stablished and very well-known competitors.
We explored an interaction model that ensured an optimal reading experience cross-platform and device.
An elegant, sophisticated and fully responsive design layout was developed, to make SH shine again with it’s beautiful curated photography and it’s Middle East industry leading fashion content.
It was vital to translate the designs across English & Arabic without losing or changing the overall structure.
The design layout needed to work both left to right (English) and right to left (Arabic), so great deal of consideration was taking into account when choosing the typeface, page structure and the general sizing of design elements to ensure legibility.
Savoir Flair’s branding has taken on the new fresh language from the website across all it’s properties.
